i'm getting my hair done this week, which is good cause it's just kinda sittin on top of my head, not doin much... i'm goin to see buble on monday... st. PATTY's day!!!! you think if i don't wear green, he'll pinch me?!?! :) you better believe i'm at least gonna try! haha! :)

i actually left work "early" today... i was out the door by like 630. it was insane! even MORE crazy is that it was still DAYTIME!!!! i love being able to still see the sun when i leave work... providing i leave work early every day, which is not gonna happen. but, it was nice today. ...the only thing i'm not totally thrilled with is when i wake up... it's dark outside. and since i'm not use to waking up until i see the sun... this is a slight problem. hrmf....

i wanted to walk when i got home tonight... but i don't wanna walk by myself... and no one was available. :/ arg.

i just ate a bowl of cereal, but i'm still super hungry. RESIST THE GIRL SCOUT COOKIES!!!!!!! REEEEEE-SIIIISSSSST!!!!!

i need to exercise though... maybe i'll do some kick boxing. :) FUN! :)

i'm in a new division at work. and i LOVE it!!! it is going very very well!!!! i love my new boss... he's got some quirks, but... for the most part, he's pretty incredible... and i'm learning a lot.

i still want a jeep... does anyone want to buy one for me yet? please?

my teefs-seses...

my teeth hurt...

i went to the dentist last year for a consultation. the dentist did all kinds of stuff. it took a long time, cause i was freaked out and wouldn't open my mouth. no, i'm not afraid to admit i'm a wimp. well, he asked me if i grit my teeth, and i told him no. but then i realized a few days later when i woke up and my teeth were clenched together... wow, i guess i really do. i've been fine here recently. but, today i went shopping with smelly kelly, mama, cullin and matthew. we went to the exchange... mom said she didn't want to be gone all day. but hey. guess what happened?!?!? i was picked up at 10am, and wasn't dropped off until 4pm. okay, so we went to starbucks before the shopping frenzy started, but we were in the exchange for like 3 1/2 hours. i was done probably in the first hour and a half. i just wanted to go home. so, i was frustrated. i got home... tired. so, i took a nap. and 3 hours later... i woke up... and my teeth hurt. really bad. i guess i was clenching them hard while i was napping. :( i guess it serves me right, cause i *SHOULD* have been cleaning my apartment, instead of sleeping. : /

oh well...

so, my moe jo sent me an email today because i hadn't posted in a month. ..well, i have a legitimate excuse. i've been sick. seriously. i was sick pretty much the ENTIRE month of january!!! ...and even a little into february... even NOW, i've still got a cough. but, i'm feeling much better than i was. i finally finished my antibiotics. thanks dr. kay. :)

i've had a LOT of things going on in my life... i went to NYC for new years. it was inCREDible!!!!! pics are up on my myspace and facebook accounts. check them if you have time. they are fun. :) so, yeah... new york for new years, then sickness came. blah blah.

i am in a new department at work. i no longer work in the ladies department. i'm in a much better department now... unfortunately, it's not very fashion forward. it's men's underwear and socks... (fun, huh???) :) it's also tailored clothing, umbrellas, wallets, belts, ties, etc... but, i'm going from a dept. that's only a few million $ a year, to almost $30 MILLION a year!! aaahhhHHHH!!!!! lots more to do, but... i won't be chasing my tail trying to keep up. i know i'll be working for a purpose... i'm soooo happy. i'm already sleeping better at night! :)

i went to a friend's house for dinner tonight. she's a dear friend of mine. one of my best friends. i adore her. she is super fun, and sweet... she is extremely intelligent and knows her stuff. she's an LPN... it's always just a breath of fresh air when i get to talk to her. i love her. anyways... we were discussing things of God, and i just realized how much i miss her. ...and, quite honestly, how much i miss *me*. ...she and i use to go to the same church. she goes to a synagouge now. but, she was sharing about an experience she had a couple weeks ago, and it just reminded me of how things use to be. i'm watching a billy graham episode right now. it's time i go back to church.

something else happened to me within the last week. ...actually, not me personally, but... one of the greatest men i will ever know... www.benarment.com ....ben resigned from pastor of RESTON COMMUNITY CHURCH up in D.C. last sunday. nothing scandalous. he is not that kind of guy. he is probably one of the most passionate people you could EVER have the privilege of knowing... truly... he loves people. his heart is for people. and last sunday, he stepped down at pastor. i'm still trying to process it. :) but, he feels God leading him to something else. and it's wild just hearing how "okay" he is with this uncertainty. i mean, i guess it's not really all that uncertain... the only certainty is that God has him and his family. He is going to take care of it all. He is going to lead him to something great. something even GREATER than what he's been doing at RCC for the last 6 years. ben and ainsley's faith touches my heart. my heart revisits the memories of when ben&ains shepherded me at LBBC. i love these 2 people in a special way. they are sincere. they are genuine. they are just incredible people. and i miss them. and can only pray that i will be able to be a part of whatever God has for them next.

va beachly weather... GAAAAH!!!!!

so, yesterday, our high was 79 degrees... now, can someone please explain to me how if it was THAT warm yesterday, why are high today is only gonna get to *48* DEGREES!??!?! GAH! the saying is true.. if you don't like the weather in virginia beach... give it 5 minutes... it'll change. seriously... dropping like 30sum degrees in ONE day.

i remember one day a couple years ago maybe, we had like every season in one single day. i'm not kidding. we had sunshine, rain, snow, hail, wind, and then back to sun. ...all in one day!

i didn't set my alarm this morning. one reason is cause i've got the day off, and i didn't want to get up early. but, ALSO cause i'm dogsitting and i figured that the pups would wake me up at about 6am. like they did yesterday. ...yeah, well they didn't! ....845o'clock later, i wake up. they didn't make a SOUND... weird. especially since i thought rosie would be up all night, cause she had gas and wanted to go to the bathroom like every 25 minutes. any ways, so i missed all the crazies out at 5am. i'm gonna try to go out here pretty soon though. rosie and bella are outside playing. i'll let them run for a little bit before i head out. ...also gotta go to gramma's house and pull down christmas stuff. lots to do today!!!! lots lots lots!

I talked to my brother tonight. He and Erin leave tomorrow night around 5ish. They don't get here until Tuesday night, around 5 or so. What a looooooooong flight!!!! EEEK!!!! I checked my credit score the other day - it's GOOOOD!!!!! :) Yeah for me! :) I found a flight to see my sis the first week of December for about $250. Now, I just gotta get the time off from work. Hope I can! I miss her and all those little booger beans!!!! Tonight, I bought a new CD from Starbucks... It's called Stocking by the Fire. I'm enjoying it. Some of the songs are very traditional. But, I don't mind so much. Jack Johnson kinda breaks it up with his rendition of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. :) And one of my most favorite christmas songs is on there... "Carol of the Bells". That's probably my #2 favorite song. O Holy Night is my #1. I'm not sold on the Bird and the Bee version of Carol of the Bells on this Starby's CD though. I love it more like cathedral choir. Oh well. And there are like maybe 3 songs on this CD that are on the "ELF" soundtrack. I think I'm gonna watch another christmas movie tonight. I watched Miracle on 34th Street earlier. ...Actually I fell asleep during it. oops. But, I've been UBER tired, so I just went with it... sometimes you just need to embrace the nap... :) I'm ready for Christmas. I'm ready to pull out my Christmas tree and decorate. I saw a house the other day that already has Christmas lights on their house. It made me happy. :) And Starbucks is already decked out in Christmas. I love this, but... I'm a little concerned that we're totally losing the whole month of November. It's like Thanksgiving doesn't even exist anymore. Christmas was up right after Halloween (or in some cases BEFORE Halloween). Don't get me wrong, I *love* Christmas... a LOT!!!! But, Thanksgiving and autumn gets totally shafted! This just doesn't seem fair. : / Am I the only one!??! With that said...

I'm dreaming of a whiiiiiite Christmaaaaaaaasssss... :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
